    Hi there,

I am using the plugin and I have an exciting PDF file that I want to replace. The link to the PDF file is present on different parts of the site and the safest workaround I can think of is to set a redirect for the link of the previous PDF file to the new one.

    For example:
    From: https://example.com/wp-content/uploads/example.pdf
    To: https://example.com/wp-content/uploads/new_example.pdf

However, I can’t seem to get it to work. The file link to the old pdf does not redirect. I also tried deleting the old pdf file and it just goes to a 404 page.

I was wondering if there’s a special setup for this or if this is even possible with the plugin?

    Thank you!

  • Hello @jadealombro,

    I hope you’re doing well.

Actually this is not possible to redirect any media content link. You can only redirect your page or link to a media content link like image, video or PDF. And It will work without any issue. But it’s not possible to replace a media content link with another. I hope you understand.

    Thank you
