Redirected Nameservers to bluehost but still keeps popping back to WordPress.com

May be a basic question, but I am very frustrated.

I began building a website on WordPress.com but then decided to shift over to a self-hosted version as I wanted to use a secondary customized theme from Themeforest. When I installed WordPress on Bluehost I directed the nameservers to the bluehost system as per the WordPress/bluehost instructions. After the 60 day period I will be doing a full transfer, but still have to wait.

Now, every so often (several times tonight, actually) I will be editing my site and it will kick me back to the old WordPress.com login screen, or the blank WordPress.com version of the site, which I REALLY don’t want to happen while I am editing and DEFINITELY not while people are visiting the site.

Any thoughts?
