    Hi,

I have changed my wp-admin url to /manage/

my site is private portal. i do not want anyone see my site unless they are logged in.

current status is my login url has been charged. all other non valid urls redirect to my login page. but still if anyone access sitename/wp-admin

it takes 404 page. with menus and header.

if i redirect sitename/wp-admin i will never able to log in to system due to loop

is there any way i can redirect sitename/wp-admin to my sites log in page.

i do not want 404 page shown to sitename/wp-admin

You could try one of the following options.

    • Enable the Maintenance feature in the plugin. Then you can edit the information displayed and add the login option. That would let people know they need to log in to view the site.
    • Another option is to use a management plugin.
    • Another option is to edit the 404.php file and add some custom information which points to a login screen.

These are just a few methods I could think of.
