    Hi,

Please edit the register page and see the Ultimate Member > Apply custom settings > Content Availability > choose ‘Content accessible to Logged Out Users’ and add a redirect URL in the field and then click save.

    Regards,

Thanks that works well. However applying this same setting to the login page doesn’t seem to work.

Visiting example.com/login just shows a small profile page with

    First Last
    Your Account
    Logout

Not a huge deal, but curious why the redirect doesn’t seem to work.

You restricted access to the login page to logged out users only?

Yes. On the login page under the Ultimate Member settings I have:
    Apply custom access settings? Yes
“Content accessible to Logged Out Users” selected

These are the exact same settings I have for the register page and the register page redirect works fine for logged in users but the login page redirect doesn’t.

We will test this out and see if we can replicate. Thanks.

I have exactly the same problem as wpuzer describes above.

I can verify that the issue described by wpuzer and bldspark still exists. I have done a full conflict test. If a different page is selected in “Settings” for the login page, the problem goes away. The workaround therefore is to create another page with the login shortcode, and to exclude the official login page from the menu using “Exclude Pages” plugin. Then the ‘Content accessible to Logged Out Users’ function works as expected.

This topic was marked “resolved” because it doesn’t directly pertain to the issue highlighted by wpuzer and bldspark. I will start another topic and redirect it here for UM Support to take a look.
