• Anyone know of a plug-in that can do the following:

    Scenario: you migrate from a different CMS to WordPress. The titles of the articles are the same, but the URL is different- too different to use any quickie redirections via variables.

    Redirect any incoming visits from search engines or direct links to WordPress’ search page and auto filling in the search parameters based on information from the incoming URL and listing the results.

    Example:
    Visitor comes to mydomain.com/publish/fishing-the-river
    The new URL is mydomain.com/06/18/2013/fishing_the_river

    The visitor comes to the /publish/fishing-the-river page, would normally get the 404 error, but instead is redirected to WordPress’ search page with ‘fishing the river’ already inserted and displays the results of the search.
