Redirect to previous page with Ultimate Member

I am using Ultimate Member with the setting for “Global Site Access” set to “Site accessible to Logged in Users”. In the login form, I note that there are several options under the settings for redirection after login, but none of them give me what I want, which is to redirect to the page the user was trying to visit. For example, if they click a link to a page in my website from an email, they should receive the login prompt, because they are trying to access a members-only page, but then after successful login, the page they were trying to visit should load. I have found a couple of work-arounds for this that are quite different. Are either of these methods recommended or is there another solution to my problem?
