Redirect to home page

Is there a way to redirect to the home page afer logout or unsuccesful attempt to access wp-admin. I’ve tried entering a blank in WPS Hide Login’s settings but when saving it reverts to “404” every time.

If I insert a child page url, eg: parent/child, the hyphen is removed, so I can currently only redirect to top level pages which aren’t the home page.

Also, clicking “Settings” > “WPS Hide Login” in WP admin leads me to the 404 page!?! The only way I can access the settings for the plugin is through the Plugins page.

I’ve disabled any caching on the site just in case it was interfering with the redirects.
