Redirect to front end website page

Hi, great plugin, I would like to know if is possible to redirect the user not to the back end admin page but to a front end website page where I will use a plugin able to write to the meta user data from the front end and letting him to change the password from there. I changed the plugin inserting the url of a page in the front end in the wp_redirect function ( ‘my url’ ); but at the login I am still redirected to the back end admin page. Can you please tell me how to redirect the user at the login to a front end page of my website? Thank you in advance for any help.
