Redirect to downloads page on adding to cart a download one already has

    How to redirect customers to download page if they already purchased a download they are trying to add to the cart?

    Let’s say a customer has purchased an ebook called “Woocommerce” and after a month they are trying to add the same product to the cart. How can we redirect them to the download page so that they don’t get frustrated by not being able to download it and no notification popping up on the checkout page?

    PS. I am redirecting to the checkout page after people add something to the cart (ommiting the cart page).

    At the moment, there’s no default option for that in WooCommerce, and that would require quite a bit of additional coding. Please kindly note that this requires some custom coding – which goes beyond the scope of support we are able to provide in this forum.
