Since the m.shaunaburkeyoga.com
and shaunaburkeyoga.com
are technically considered to be two separate domains (as for where they resolve), you cannot use the plugin to redirect the ‘m.
‘ to the non ‘m.
‘ because the plugin would need to be on that specific version of the site for it to work (plus, it would not be ideal for redirecting the entire domain).
You have a few options here:
Go to the where you set up the ‘m.
‘ subdomain (most likely your hosting panel) and do a domain forward for that subdomain. Forward it to the shaunaburkeyoga.com
domain – do not use domain masking. (recommended method)
Don’t do anything on the hosting side, but add an .htaccess
entry on the mobile (m.
) site to redirect all URLs to the regular site. You would need to look up how to set up a subdomain redirect to a parent domain for .htaccess
.(less recommended but will still work)
Go to the where you set up the ‘m.
‘ subdomain (most likely your hosting panel) and set the ‘m.
‘ subdomain to resolve to the same folder on the host as the regular domain. Then set up an .htaccess
rule in the regular domain root folder that redirects the ‘m.
‘ subdomain URLs to the regular site URLs. You would need to look up how to set up a subdomain redirect to a parent domain for .htaccess
. (less recommended but will still work)
Number one is the method I would recommend, as it will take care of all of the URLs in one easy setting (it will forward all m.shaunaburkeyoga.com
URLs to the shaunaburkeyoga.com
equivalent, i.e., https://m.shaunaburkeyoga.com/about-us/
would become https://shaunaburkeyoga.com/about-us/
).
Best of luck,
