  • Dave,
    Couple things to check…

    1. I Am assuming because of your comment about ‘draft mode’ that it is an Individual Redirect (set up on the page edit screen and not the Quick Redirects page). If it is not, try removing it from the Quick Redirects and set it up as an individual redirect.
    2. Try rebuilding your permalinks. You just need to go to Settings/Permalinks and they will rebuild, so try that and then check the link again.
    3. If you have any caching plugins, set up, clear your cache. Even if you turn off a caching plugin, most of the time the cached data still is served.
    4. If you are not using a caching plugin, clear your Browser’s cache (and offline files). Then try again and see if it redirects

Let me know if none of these things work.
    Warmest regards,
    Don

    Hi Don,

    You are correct:

    1) It is on an individual page and not on Quickredirects page.
    2) Did the rebuild but still no luck
    3) Used WP Super Cache to clear data
    4) Cleared Chrome Cache

but still no luck. As mentioned when in draft mode on my page it works fine. As soon as I publish it, it says page not found. It seems to sty within the first domain “https://www.daveandrewproductions.com/albums/” and not go to “https://www.dave-andrew.com/”.

Thanks so much for your time!
    Dave

    Dave,
You have something odd going on for that page. When the 404 loads, all of the scripts and elements are loaded from dave-andrew.com and not daveandrewproductions.com. That means that something is already redirecting the page to dave-andrew.com for the 404 but keeping the URL in the address bar (as other 404s on the same domain look completely different, so they are not on the same site).

Do you have both sites on the same server? And you you have anything else set up that might be redirecting for that page, like maybe .htaccess or something else?

Let me know when you have a moment.

    Hi Don,

Yes, they are both on the same server! If this is a problem would you know a solution.
    Thanks again!
    Dave

I don’t know if it is the problem or not, but do you have any form of redirect set up in the root htaccess file or is there a folder called ‘albums’ that is actually on the server that has files in it?

If so, either of those could cause the issue.

Let me know when you have a moment.
    Warm regards,
    Don
