“Redirect only” deprecated, but maybe I don’t even need it?

    I’m getting this message with WooCommerce:

    Your store is configured to serve digital products using “Redirect only” method. This method is deprecated, please switch to a different method instead.

    I sell software that people test with a trial period before they buy, so a download is not required or often even useful at time of checkout. Should I instead define the products as Virtual instead of Downloadable? Download links are provided at another area of the web site.

    Thanks for any suggestions!

    Hey there!

    That would be best practice, yes. If you are not tying the links to the product ( a license on purchase), then there’s no need to mark it as downloadable.
