    Hi

I have installed the Simple Membership After Login Redirection and checked the checkbox but it doesn’t take the user back to their initial page; rather it just take the user back to the page specified in the membership level.

I have turned off all plugins and the theme and it still does it? Any ideas how to fix it?

    thanks

    Hi,

Have you by any chance read the following documentation configure-login-redirection-members/?

    Thank you

    Hi

Yes I have read that page

    It is the final part:

Enable Redirection to the Last Page (where they clicked the login link)
You can enable the option to redirect members to the page where they clicked the login link.

When enabled, this option takes preference over the after login redirection that you configure in the membership level. So when this condition is true, this redirection will take place (instead of the one configured in the membership level).

    That doesn’t work

    Thanks for your help

Hi, can you disable and uninstall the addon. Then install a fresh new copy of the addon. Let me know if this fixes your issue?

    Thank you

    Hi,

Just to make sure we are on the same page, please check the following instructions wordpress-simple-membership-after-login-redirect-add-on. Let me know if they help you in anyway.

    Thank you

Hi, I have submitted a message to the developers to investigate further your issue.

    Thank you

    Couple of things to check:

#1) For the redirect to the last page feature, it is important to make sure that the visitor is clicking on the “login” link that is shown INSIDE the protection message displayed by the plugin. Then the plugin can add the last page’s URL within that protection message. When you click on the link, you will see the additional arguments in the URL.

#2) If you are using the custom message addon and overriding the protection message, then that can cause an issue. Are you using the “custom messages addon” on this site?

    Ok

It was the second issue so I have disabled the Custom Msg plugin. Is there no way to use this plugin now?

    thanks for your help
