Hello. I am considering using the Permalink Manager plugin but have a question related to my setup.

I use Yoast SEO to handle post slugs and redirects when editing a post URL. That said, should I disable the Redirect Mode option in the Permalink Manager settings?

Additionally, and given that I use Yoast SEO, is there any other option that I should disable in the Permalink Manager plugin to avoid conflict with Yoast?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi @sebastienpage,

If you are using free version of plugin there is no need to disable any PM functionalities. The paid version allows to create redirects for old URLs whenever they are changed. To disable it please make sure that “Save old custom permalinks as redirects” option is turned off in the plugin settings.

Still, if you would like to disable all additional redirect functions added with my plugin please set “Redirect mode” to “Disable”.

    Best regards,
    Maciej

    Thanks for the quick reply.

If I disable Redirect Mode entirely in your plugin, will Yoast take over the redirects regardless of the permalink structure for all posts that I change the URL for?

    Hi @sebastienpage,

Yes, if you are going to use this particular feature:
