• I made a mistake yesterday that I’m unable to undo. I published a new post with the slug gluten-free-summer-recipes. Then I proceeded to set up a Summer Recipes category and inadvertently gave it the same slug. When I realized my mistake, I changed the category slug to simply gluten-free-summer. I’m pretty sure it was at this point that I accepted a WordPress redirect.

Now, whenever I try to get to the post on the front end, I’m taken to the category instead. Oddly enough, it’s still working on my phone. (Maybe a caching thing?)

Can anyone tell me how I might get in there and undo the redirect, or what I should do to fix the problem?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello, fromourHideaway, & welcome. No, it’s not a caching thing, as I haven’t visited your site before, & I got the same results.

What say let’s try editing your post slug. Click the edit link beside the post, then change the permalink & press the ‘ok’ link. Please let us know if that helps.

    Hi

Do you have any redirection plugin active? If yes, you can check there if any such redirect exists.

Also, if you are using any caching plugin then please clear the cache and browser cache.
