Redirect loop with other language

Hi there,

I have a website with two languages installed (Dutch and English), where Dutch is the default language.

Now, the Dutch URLs are working, but the English pages give a redirect loop.

For example see https://www.vidaveranda.nl/en/volunteers/. It redirects to https://www.vidaveranda.nl/en/nl_nl/volunteers/, which further wants to redirect to
https://www.vidaveranda.nl/en/nl_nl/en/volunteers/ etc etc (screenshot: https://radishconcepts.d.pr/i/tBLOfZ).

We can’t find where this redirect is controlled.

We’ve already emptied all caches etc.

PS: all the Dutch pages automatically now get a /nl_nl/ in the URL, which isn’t needed necessarily, but not sure if this is part of the issue
