Redirect Loop when installing new theme

    Hello, I have had my wordpress website for a while, but now I want to change my theme to look like a professional e-commerce website. I paid for the Flatsome theme from themeforest, but it is not working. When I install the theme nothing shows up in the live preview, and the live version of my website says “this webpage has a redirect loop.” I have contacted my host and they haven’t yet found the problem either. I deactivated all plugins and it still didn’t work. I am currently running my old theme on my website for my customers sake so that they can continue ordering. Does anyone know how I can resolve this issue? I am not deeply skilled in programming, or wordpress, but I do know a little bit. I don’t know what the problem is.

  • If you switch back to a standard theme (twentytwelve, twentythirteen, etc.), then the redirect loop does not occur? It only happens when you have the Flatsome theme active?

    If that’s the case, you should get in touch with Themeforest and ask for help.

    Yes the redirect goes away whenever I use a different theme other than Flatsome. Thanks I will see if they reply, they have terrible customer service.
