Redirect link with extension

Hello,
Long time ago I can redirect the link with file extension, such as
such as https://fususu.com/example.pdf to https://drive.google.com/abccode
But after moving to a new host (I’m use a VPS) I the link https://fususu.com/example.pdf shows a 404 not found.
I couldn’t create any link with file extension like that.
What should I do or config the host to let me use that type of redirect link?Please help,
