After installing the WP Fastest Cache plugin and minimizing files the site is acting differently. When people are on their mobile phones the full desktop version shows up using chandlerlacrosse.com. What’s strange is this doesn’t occur when accessing the site with this path on a mobile phone.

I cleared the cache, deactivated the plugin, but the issue persists.

My guess is one of the files was modified and I need to revert it back.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

did you enable the “Mobile” option?

    I appreciate your reply.

Let me verify that the mobile option is enabled. Not sure that is the issue but I will investigate. The reason I’m not sure that’s the issue is because the mobile site works with one link but not the other one.

    Responsive doesn’t work: chandlerlacrosse.com
    Responsive works: https://phillipmontgomery.com/ChandlerLacrosse/

The “chandlerlacrosse.com” is currently a domain forwarded with masking to the other site, not sure if that makes a difference.

Both links has responsive mode working before. (Just trying to eliminate variables)

The only change to the site was adding the plugin. I also deactivated the plugin with no luck. Tried clearing the cache through the plugin and then deactive, nothing.

Let me see if somehow the mobile option was deactivated, and the system cached it. (I did have other people who never accessed the site try it, but I’ll check)

isn’t the problem solved even though you disable wp fastest cache?

    (@cactusjackaz)

The issue persists even after deactivating the plugin.

I was wondering if the plugin modified a file while I was selecting various options such as Minify Css, Combine Css, Combine Js. I’m not certain what those options completely due but curious if one of those rewrote part of a file.

I can restore from a previous day backup but like most people just nervous because it might make matters worse. (I have GoDaddy daily backups so it should be straightforward)

it means that the problem is not related to wp fastest cache. Not only wp fastest cache but also any cache plugin does not cause any permanent problems.

Makes sense. I do appreciate the feedback. Trying to track down all possibilities.
