I’m not sure I understand what you are trying to achieve, but:
If you want to redirect “old” link, I guess you mean you want to redirect some URL from an older website to a new site. In that case, redirection needs to be set up on the old website.
In case you have the “old” URL on your current website, where “old” indicates an outdated URL, or the URL of the page that even does not exist anymore, of course you can make the redirection from that URL to any other URL on your site or anywhere else on the web.
For both cases, I suggest a “Specific URL Redirection”, with a classic FROM > TO input.
If you had something different in mind, please provide as many details as possible so we can offer a proper solution.
