  • Hi nikolaz111,

In settings when “Allow users to edit their profiles in the dashboard.” is active. The redirect link doesn’t work.

When the ‘edit profiles’ option is selected, you’re effectively allowing users to access the dashboard but only via the profile.php screen. If they attempt to visit any other dashboard screens they’ll be redirected.

So are you saying that disallowed users are able to access other screens in the dashboard when the ‘edit profiles’ option is enabled?

    Hi Drew,

No, users can only see their profile, which is good, but when they log in, the first thing that appears to them is the page where they can edit their profile. I would like that the first thing that appears to them is the homepage of the wordpress site.

    Thanks

Ahh. I’ll look at maybe adding a check for the referrer in the next version so if they’re coming from the login screen, they get redirected.

Ok man i’ll be looking forward for that.

Thank you and keep the good work ??

    Hiya,

Im experiencing the same problem. When you login it just goes to their profile page.

    Hi NicholasMark,

Do me a favor and start your own thread at the bottom of this page.
