redirect from login “back to” main site page

  • How can I change the redirect in the login.php to allow the user to return to the main website page, rather than getting stuck at the login screen?

    I have a website using subdirectories for blogs (WordPress is also in a subdirectory). Some blogs are private. When non-logged-in user selects a private blog and is directed to the login screen, I want them to be able to navigate back to the main page using the existing “back to” link at the bottom, rather than being stuck at the login page for the private blog.
