Redirect from another domain

  • hi,
    I’m trying to redirect another domain in the same virtual directory to the wordpress installed seperately. Basically I have a wordpress install at domaina.com/blog and I want to have the homepage for domainb.com go directly to that site and appear as if its there. I have done this using the index.php with sites that are on teh domain, but I’d like to do this for 2 domains as well.

  • What you’ll need to do is set up what’s called “Domain Aliasing” on your hosting account- which, of course, depends on whether or not your host offers it. Check with them, and then you can alias domainb.com to go to whatever directory you need it to go to on your server.
