Redirect Does not work when usernames have "Dots"..

  • Hi, everybody, Using with buddypress ,I have come across the issue where login redirect does not work when the username have dots in their usernames… for example: abc.xyz.. Usually usernames are stripped like abc-xyz when logged in using abc.xyz.but when using your plugin its does not please,,Deactivating the plugin works fine.. please help

  • This might be an issue beyond the realm of the redirect plugin. By default WordPress strips the dot in the creation of the username, thus it is possible that by the time the username is passed to the plugin, the dot is no longer there. There is nothing in the plugin specifically that tries to strip dots.
