redirect AND block bot/crawler from indexing?

    I’m using the redirect feature of CMP – but noticed that a Goolge bot/crawler still accesses various pages of my Word Press site. I learned that this can be prevented if every page has a nofollow code embedded. I can see that CMP has a no indexing option – but I take it this doesn’t apply for redirects. True?

    You are right about the indexing – it applies only for CMP landing page BUT you can set Search Engine Visibility also directly in WordPress admin Settings > Reading to disable indexing. But if the website is already indexed then I am not sure how long does it take Google to remove it.
