Redirect after register

  • Hi there,

    I want the users to be redirected to a specific page after they have registered.
    In the forms I cannot set a “redirect after login” as I can in the login form.
    After the registration the users are being redirected to /user/theusername…

    Does anybody know how to change that?
    Any help is highly appreciated.

    ok, I found it.
    the redirect url can be specified for each role. therefore it can be found under “user roles”… just in case anybody else is looking for this feature…

    Hey! It seems you’ve solved the issue I’m having right now, could you please help me? I want redirect people who just registered to a page of my own but I can’t figure how to write the URL. As of now, however I write the URL nothing happens. The address to the page is shown in the address field but my page isn’t. I don’t even get any type of error..

    Visit the page with your browser, copy the url and paste it exactly the same way in the field. That should work.

    I am experiecing an issue right now that after registration the page just refresesh but no account or redirection is happening.

    I’m using the plugin itheme security to redirect the standard admin login page ./wp-login and ./login. This is just because of security reasons (brut force attack)

    But since I installed the ulimate member plugin this security feature is not working anymore. Is there any possibility to change the standard login URL for the ultimate member plugin? This would be great.

    Hi @andreas_hgw,

    check out the settings of UM. There you can set the login page. If you need to change the URL then you need to change the URL of that page.

    My problem is that since I have installed the ultimate member plugin the link myHomepage/wp-login is available again. This was disabled before via itheme security plugin. I used (and still can use) a different url for the login with my admin account. That’s why I think that the ultimate memer plugin has enable the wp-login url.
