Redirect after Login Issues

  • Greetings all,

    I’ve scoured through the forums to look for answers beforehand but couldn’t find anything that works.

    Essentially, I’m trying to figure out how to handle the case where a user is successfully logged in. Clicking on the same link pulls up:

    “log out
    blog admin”.

    I would like for users who are already logged in to be redirected to the page I have listed already as the redirect page per a successful login. Any ideas or suggestions would be more than appreciated!

    Is there anyone facing the issue for Login Redirect?
    Everything else from this plugin is amazingly good except a problem of Login redirect. May be I am implementing something incorrect in settings.

    So, Here’s the issue.

    When I enter login credentials and hit ‘Login’, the page is getting redirected to “https://localhost/ritsocial/wp-admin/profile.php” instead of getting redirected to the page I set for “Global Login Redirect” in Redirection Settings.

    Please note:
    I am able to login with user credentials but every time I need to go on the back page or any other page manually.

    I even tried other custom redirection plugins but none of them solved the issue.

    May be I’m doing something silly. ??
    Please help with finding a work around on this.

    just to narrow down the problem and help us debug the issue is it possible to try the following temporarily:

    – deactivating all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems
