Wow, I completly forgot about his thread and now I come back here and see a whole bunch of nice comments and things.
The one thing I would consider changing is either bringing the sidebar all the way up to the header graphic or adding more links to your top navigation instead of just having the background gradient between the header and the sidebar.
When I do have abit of time, I intend to add a few more links to the menu – like for example the contact page because at the moment its a bit hard to find.
Looks like you put more effort into your new design, great job!
Personally I’d say I put in a bit less as I had already had the foundations in place, I just rewrote the CSS – not knowing what I was really doing (by that I mean the look I was going for), then looking at the results and saying “yep, i’ll change this to this, and that to that.”
Very nice! Just out of curiosity, what are you using for your gallery? It looks nice ??
It’s custom, but if you guys like it, I might release it to the whole community. It currently uses the WordPress authentication system, and the Smarty template engine. The gallery was only meant to be simple, something for me to upload pictures to, which is why all you can really do is browse albums or photos – nothing really else.
