Redesign running on 1.3 alpha5 – your thoughts pls

  • Hi All,
    Right I’ve upgraded my wordpress from 1.21 to 1.3 alpha5 and this is my first use of the template system… I think it’s got a lot of potential… finally wp moves above mt in every respect.
    Could you all take a looksy and let me know if you find any bugs with anything. Also, any thoughts on the design?
    All and any thoughts/feedback much appreciated.

    Nothing else to say really, apart from itd make a good theme ??

    Very nice use of colours, looks terrific, one suggestion though: Maybe having the home/archives/categories hover effect with the text in the centre of the hover effect.

    Whats the access key = business on the menu bar?

    the access key allows you to select that button with a keyboard shortcut. e.g. Home is ALT+1, Archives is ALT+2… and so on. Its really an accessibility thing.

    Looks great. What did you do to pull off the Archives as you did? Can you share your code?
