Redesign / Preview Themes on a live site? Advice needed please

  • Hi,

    I have a live site. My user wants to change the theme, but I don’t want to sit and tweak this live site over the space of a few days.

    Is there any way to install a new theme and I can work on it in the background…. so that when its ready I can just switch theme and it will be done?

    I don’t want to change the theme, then spend a long time editing and tweaking it on the live site.

    Any advice greatly appreciated

    I had a look but wasn’t too sure.

    I was hoping if there’s one available that somebody could recommend a fairly straight forward and reliable one to use?
