• I recently redesigned my personal site I have been posting to for several months.

Anyone want to give me some feed back or critique the site.

Anything would be appreciated since I am still a student who is honing his web design skills

  • I really like it. Not so much the brick background, but I did subscribe!

Thanks for the comment I should have another article today.

I know what you mean about the bricks I have that pattern at about 5 different sizes but the site just looked to plain for me without it.

Wow, I seriously hurt my eyes when i went to your site.

It’s too “busy”, too much information to be deciphered out of all the imagery. If it’s possible to tone things down a little, that would make the site easier to read.

Just because you can put lots of design ideas up on the site, doesn’t mean you should. Perhaps you should work on the prinicple that “less is more”.

Still, for a first timer, I can understand your enthusiasm. Enjoy yourself, that’s the key I guess, but if you want people who stumble upon your site to stick around, it has to be easy on the eye and deliver the goods quickly.
    just a thought.

    cheers,

This is cool, but I don’t know where to look. Lots of stuff.

It is unique and creative, though.

Did you just change it? Because it doesn’t look cluttered or too busy to me, it looks great! Not a brick background in sight! ??

Each piece of artwork is cool.
It’s a coherent set of art and art style.

But, there’s too much for me.
    For me, it’s sensory overload.
I’d tone it down a little if you want people like me (I’m a ripe 50 years old) to spend time there.
