redeeming domain which is under redemption

  • My domain has expired. MY BAD to totally forget about it. Now it is on redemption period. I am willing to pay extra to get it back. But I cannot seem to contact wordpress. WordPress is my host provider. How can I redeem it?

    This is a question you should direct towards https://en.support.wordpress.com/ since that’s where your site is hosted. I’m sure they’ll be happy to help you.

    This is the forum for www.remarpro.com self-hosted sites, and the two work a bit differently. It’s very easy to get them confused:

    It looks like GoDaddy’s Wild West Domains is the actual domain registrar. Did you happen to register the domain yourself there or did WordPress.com register the domain name there for you?

    Here’s a little more info. And you probably need to act quickly or risk losing the domain. You should be able to renew for more than one year at a time also but WordPress may not offer that feature.

    Sounds like you just need to login to your WordPress.com account and renew/redeem your domain from there from what I read.
