Reddit does not pick up thumbnails for blog posts

I use the Grown plugin to post to social media platforms including Reddit. When I post to Twitter and Facebook, the posts pick up the proper thumbnail image from the individual posts. But when I post to Reddit, the post thumbnail is always the same image from an earlier post I published months ago. Instead of picking up a thumbnail from the individual post I’m linking to, it uses the same thumbnail for every post to Reddit.
I thought this might be an OG meta tag problem. But I have that enabled in Yoast SEO. I tried a fix suggested by appending characters to a post URL. That succeeded in eliminating the old thumbnail. But now the thumbnail box is empty with no image.
How do I fix this?

@corenominal: Every post that I upload to Reddit behaves the same way. A working link to the post but the thumbnail image is empty. I have Yoast SEO set to create the OG tag for FB. Shouldn’t that work for all social media platforms like Reddit which pick up the OG image tag? Is it only doing that on the home page? Can you tell me how to set an OG tag for each individual post? Can I do that in my Genesis theme? Or some other way?
