redacted/grayed out content on dashboard

Why is some of the content grayed out on my dashboard? I’ve had this happen before but I don’t remember how to fix it. I am using Twenty-twenty theme. I’ve disabled all plugins. I’ve used the tools to clear out transient information and to make sure the database is updated. What else could it be?

However, I can see that your PHP version doesn’t meet our minimum requirements in order to run WooCommerce successfully. Please update your PHP to version 7.3 or greater.

Thanks for the information about the PHP version, I’ve updated that. I have a screen capture from earlier today – https://snipboard.io/JyORzY.jpg I have since reverted back to a version from the end of January. I haven’t done any development on this WP Installation so I just reverted to a code base from the end of January and it’s working fine. It is using WooCommerce Version 4.9.2 but WordPress version is 5.6 not 5.6.1
When I now try to update the WordPress installation I receive the following error message –
An automated WordPress update has failed to complete – please attempt the update again now.Also, earlier in the day during the debugging process I completely uninstalled WooCommerce including the db tables. I reinstalled but couldn’t get past the initial Store Details page, for some reason I couldn’t “Continue” regardless of whether I checked the box for setting up for a client or agreeing to share data or not. I received no error message but the Continue button didn’t work. I’m interested in your thoughts on the matter and will check back in tomorrow. Thanks for your help.

Well, that’s strange. Regarding the WordPress core update error, I will recommend trying manually updating. Download WordPress again and unzip it. Access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, and delete then replace your copies of everything on the server except the
wp-config.phpfile and the /wp-content/directory with fresh copies from the download. This will effectively replace all of your core files without damaging your content and settings.Afterward, my suggestion is to download a fresh version of the WooCommerce from the link below and try again.
