• I am having the same problem as several other users, but I was asked to create a new thread and so here it is.

After having the problem on the site I wanted to use the plugin on, I went through all the suggested steps in another thread. No success. So I decided I would create 2 totally new fresh wordpress 4.6 sites, staging.gregfuller.com, and testing.gregfuller.com, to see if I could push from staging to testing.

I deleted the 3 default plugins, and installed wpsitesync on both sites. In settings on the staging site, I entered the credentials for the testing site. I still get the red x password problem.

I will be happy to share the passwords for these sites to you if that will help to determine the problem.
