Please add the below CSS codes on Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS,

#primary-menu li.menu-item-has-children.locked > ul,
#primary-menu li.menu-item-has-children a:focus ~ ul,
a:focus{
   outline:none;
}

This code will help to remove the red box. Please let us know if you have any queries.

We have fixed this and updated the theme.
Please update the theme to the latest version 1.2.2. You can go to Appearance > Themes and see the update notification to update the theme.

If you mean anything different, please come up with the screenshot.

You can also check the demo of the theme to know that is fixed or not.
