Red Border Error Issue on WordPress 4.4.1 –> Mulitisite; domain mapping

  • Hi,
    I had been enjoying CF7 for a while. Then after my last WP update I got the red border (although I cannot guaranty there is a link between these 2 events ?? )

    My site is able to send emails (with another plugin)

    The annoying particularity :
    My site is a multi-site, and uses domain mapping. (It’s not that rare.)
    So when I try to be consistent with the domain of the “From” email, I have to remember that there are 3 possible domains :
    – Main domain, the multisite root mymulti.com I have an Email that I tried
    – Mapped domain, not the multisite root, different for every (sub)site notmymulti.com I have an Email that I tried.
    – The sub-site usual domain subsite.mymulti.com . I cannot have an email for that domain

    I tried to use the first two : no result.

    The URL of the form page :
    https://www.lumeo.fr/contact/
    Your mail setup :
    to : [email protected]
    from : [email protected]
    Subject : [your-subject]
    Additional Headers : Reply-To: [your-email] (I tried void too.)

    Your host (service provider) : OVH

    Anybody using domain mapping foud a workaround for this ?
    (I suspect domain mapping but I cannot guaranty there is a link between it and my problem ?? )

    Solved:

    I used Postman plugin and …
    I went to Postman options and opted in for “Prevent Themes and plugins from changing this.” (There is 2 options you have to opt in for)

    Hope this helps.

    If this is true, one of your plugins or theme was changing the From address and that was the problem. Have you found the plugin or theme?

    Hi Takayuki,

    I wanted to be sure so this morning I opted out for “Prevent Themes and plugins from changing this.” …. It went back to the red border.
    Then opted in again, everything went back to normal.

    It’s no proof yet (I am a skeptic) … but it’s close from being a proof.

    Now the question is : which plugin is responsible for this conflict. It’s a plugin, the theme has not been updated).
    There’s quite a few to disable. I’ll do that tomorrow.

    BTW, I return the “Good job dude” to you for, thanks to this plugin, you seem to have helped more people than I can expect to help during my entire life. (Maybe I should try to build a plugin too ?? )
