Recursive replace to done a replacement

Hi, I have installed the plugin to convert my blog from http to https.
I have replaced https://www.ciscozine.com to https://www.ciscozine.com but to replace all links, I had to excecute the replacement 7 times.
Why I need to execute the script more the 1 time?thanks
