I have WF running in my hosting account root but not in each test bed install folder. WF in the root is recursively protecting all the down-line folders. This is great except when it interferes with a plugin in the down-line folder. Can you help me with htaccess code to make exceptions for a down-line folder so I do not have to install wf in the test bed folders. I have other security on those.

Or send a link to the information if it is on the WF site.

    Thanks for the help

    Hey @flyfisher842,

Can you please share a screenshot of Wordfence > Live Traffic when something is interfering with the plugin?

If it’s possible to recreate the issue you might try putting the Firewall into Learning Mode so you can whitelist the action.

    Please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Hey @flyfisher842,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’ve gone ahead and marked this thread as resolved.

Please feel free to open another thread if you’re still having issues with Wordfence.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald

    Gerald,

Apologies Thought I had replied to this issue. I whitelisted my ipv6 and ipv4 ip addresses in the wordfence on my root account. This seems to have solved the issue so far. I have not had any lockouts since doing this.
