    Dear all,

I am evaluating the free version of Events Manager(v5.5.7.1) in combination with WPML (v.3.2.2).

Right after installing it, I also added and activated Events Manager and WPML Compatibility (v0.3).

After adding an event, I want to add an translation for this event.
I click on the “+ button” which sais “add translation in language xyz”

Sadly, the browser loads a long time and finally tells me that I started a recursive call. The error message I get (translated from german):

Error: Redirection error: The site is redirecting the request in a way that they will never complete. This problem may sometimes occur if cookies are disabled or rejected.

Now I wonder if I am doing something wrong, because Events Manager is explictly listed as WPML compatible.

I also noticed, I am unable to add translations to content apart from events, like normal pages. As soon as I deactivate the plugins from Events Manager, the WPML translation button works again.

If anyone might help me getting this to work, I would really appreciate it.

    Kind regards!

just to narrow down the problem and help us debug the issue is it possible to try the following temporarily:

    – deactivating all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems

    Dear angelo,

I deactivated all other plugins and indeed an old plugin, which was not needed anymore, manipulated EM in some way or another.

No it works as expected, issue solved.

    Thank you for your help.

    Cheers!
