• I am using an public upload plugin that allows the users to manage there uploads. All files are stored in a private folder.

However nextgen can’t seem to find the images in subfolders.
So the images are located at wp-content/uploads/user_uploads/user1

If I create a new gallery and set the folder to /wp-content/uploads/user_uploads I get the message “no images found”

when I select the subfolder user1 I do get images.

Is there a way to make sure the gallery can see the images in subfolders aswell ?

@skiipz – Although an interesting idea we currently do not offer any importing routines that will incorporate a folder structure. Image will only be found the the folder the gallery is pointed to, anything sub-folders will not be seen.

You are welcome to share your thoughts and ideas on this as a Feature Request here: https://nextgen-gallery.com/feature-voting/ but I see this as potentially far reaching in the refactoring it would require so if added it would not be for some time.

    Thanks!
