Recurring Posts plugin?

Is there a post that will make a post recur after it hits its “publish date”?
I’m using wordpress posts as events, and setting the publish date to the date and time of the event. The only problem is, is that I have to go in and change it every week.

Does anyone know of a plug-in that would automatically update the publish date to a week later after the publish date has been reached?
