G’day, are you running in sandbox/test mode with your own eWAY customer ID? I have found that you need to force the test customer ID (87654321) to test recurring payments, otherwise you get an error with no message (i.e. the plugin just reports “eWAY error reported:”)

To verify, go to the eWAY Payments settings in the admin, and set “Force Test Customer ID in Sandbox” to “yes”.

If this is not the problem, please tell me what error message you are getting.

    cheers,
    Ross

Thanks Ross I’ll give that a try.
Can I not test recurring payments in my own Sandbox as I want to see what it looks like at the eWAY backend?

    Regards,
    Gary

G’day Gary, unfortunately eWAY sandbox doesn’t work with you own customer id. Maybe you can let them know to, and they might fix it!

    cheers,
    Ross
