Recurring Payments

  • I want to test to make sure the recurring payments work but so far it only takes the initial payment and never processes payment again.

    I am using the “Testing Only” payment gateway, set to “Sandbox/Testing”. Is this why it’s not processing recurring payments? If so, is there any way I can test recurring payments without going live?

    Yes. The test gateway doesn’t do anything with recurring payments. Depending on which gateway you are using, you can use their sandbox/devevelopment environment. I also like to test on the live gateway using discount codes that change the price to $0.25 per day or something like that.
