I’m using Woocommerce subscriptions and membership plugins along with your gateway plugin. I have a virtual product (online course) setup for a deposit payment, then recurring payments for 6 months. Setup works great in sandbox mode, but once placed in production mode with valid API and Transaction Key, the transaction returns a “Payment was declined – please try another card,” error message with a KNOWN good card. The same card works fine using same gateway buying a simple product. With the subscription/membership product,t he account is created and the order shows as “pending” WITHOUT the membership being added to the order.

Again…it works just as it should in sandbox mode. ARB is enabled on the authorize.net account. Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks

    Hello,

Our plugin does not use ARB, it uses CIM (Customer Information Manager). Please try enabling CIM in your Authorize.Net account and I think that will solve the problem.

    Thanks.

Yes that was it. Figured it out before you answered but the quick reply is much appreciated nonetheless!

I have another question concerning this. Where exactly does the transaction itself show up in authorize.net. I setup a test payment last night for $1 with a one month delay for 6 additional recurring payments of $1. I see the captured/saved card profile and information but I don’t see where authorize.net actually charged the $1 sign-up/deposit fee and setup the automated payments.

Does it the recurring automated part of it occur inside the woocommerce membership/subscription plug-in? Since authorize.net’s ARB isn’t used that’s what I’m assuming, but I should still see the initial $1 deposit fee somewhere in authorize.net shouldn’t I?

    Thanks for any clarification here.

Yes, the recurring functionality is in the woocommerce subscriptions plugin. You should be able to see any transaction that has already been processed in your Authorize.Net account. Try looking in the Reports or Transaction Search on the top menu.

Update! I found them in the “pending capture” list on authorize.net. So will wait another 24 hours on those. Apologies for jumping the gun on those. I assumed they’d be settled at 2am along with the others that are typically settled each night.

But still curious about which part of the system triggers the recurring payments (assuming it’s woocommerce’s plugins).
