    Hello,

I am using the plugin with WooCommerce Subscriptions.

The first order does generate the invoice but the following orders that are automatically generated and processed as completed DO NOT GENERATE THE INVOICE.

    How can i fix this?

i think i found the solution the problem was in a configuration.

I am investigating and this option does allow the user to download the invoice. The problem is that the invoice HAS NOT REALLY BEEN GENERATED WHEN THE ORDER HAS BEEN GENERATED

It is generated when the user clicks on downloading the invoice and this is not correct because the invoice number and the date are not correlated and this is not correct.

The invoice has to be generated when the order is generated and this does not happen with recurring invoices. It works perfectly with the first order but with the following orders it does not generate invoices automatically and they are individual orders that should be done.

The correct option is the one that was already marked previously and is that:

allow to download the invoices in MY ACCOUNT only when the invoice has been created.

But since the invoice is not generated automatically when the recurring order is generated then it does not show the invoice.

Any solution so that the invoice is generated automatically when the recurring order is created?`

as you can see in the image that order has already been generated but the invoice is not generated. The invoice is generated when the user downloads the invoice but the invoice must be generated when the order is placed so that the invoice number and date are related

here you can see that the order is completed (it is the recurring order that has been generated) but the invoice has not been generated.

The invoice will be generated when the user downloads it

    Hi @topserviciosinformaticos,

The way our free plugin creates an invoice automatically is when you select order email notifications in which it will be attached, under WooCommerce > PDF Invoices > Documents > Invoice > Attach to: The attachment process will create an invoice document with its respective number:

A screenshot that displays the Attach to setting

In the Professional extension, there is another way to create documents, based on the order status (without the need to attach it), specifically the Create automatically for setting. That is, if you select the Processing or Completed order status for this setting, the PDF document will be created only when the order reaches any of these order statuses:

As you may have noticed in both examples, I have used the Processing and Completed order statuses, because these are the ones I recommend selecting to generate PDF documents only in orders where you have received a payment. Of course, you can select other email notifications or order statuses (if you have the Professional extension), if generating documents on unpaid orders is not a problem for you or if your site does not allow placing unpaid orders.

That said, WooCommerce Subscriptions adds new email notifications that are used for renewal orders, therefore, you need to select the notifications for this kind of orders too (which works likewise than the ones for the regular orders: based on its status), since they don’t use the default ones:

First of all, thank you for your quick and super clear answer.

I’m going to try what you said and see if it automatically generates the invoice when the renewal request is complete.

Again, thank you very much for your answer, I will answer you if it has worked
