• I am using the PayFast Payment gateway which does NOT support recurring billing, however, I want to process and send out recurring invoices via WP-Invoice that can then be paid through PayFast as a once-off payment option.

Unfortunately, WP-Invoice doesn’t seem to allow me to create recurring invoices without linking it up to a payment system that supports subscription payments/auto-billing. I want to send a reciting invoice, for recurring “once-off” payments, not auto-billed payments.

How can I set WP-Invoice to automatically send an Invoice, say monthly, but then offer any available once-off payment option (such as PayFast, or Check, etc) as payment?

There must be a way to achieve this. For example, I can use other invoicing software such as FreshBooks or NetCache to send recurring invoices even without any linked payment options. The invoicing and billing is done separately. Can someone please explain to me how I can do this with WP-Invoice? Thanks.

    Hello,

not sure I understand you correctly.

What is PayFast and how is it connected to WP-Invoice. By the default (from core) WP-Invoice does not support PayFast and does not know anything about it.

If you are talking about some “internal recurring billing” without using any payment system for auto-charging then answer is No. There is not such feature in the plugin. All the recurring invoices need to be linked to some system that supports it.
