Recurring events showing past occurrences

My events list seems to be showing past events. I have 2 separate pages to demonstrate:

1) This page shows past occurrences of recurring events – https://www.marybakereddylibrary.org/programs-events/

The shortcode being used is: [ecs-list-events excerpt=’true’ limit=’7′ viewall=’false’ order=’ASC’]

2) Here’s a copy of if where I added past=’no’. This version shows even older events – https://www.marybakereddylibrary.org/events-test/

The shortcode being used is: [ecs-list-events excerpt=’true’ limit=’7′ viewall=’false’ order=’ASC’ past=’no’]

I also tried past=’false’ and past=false

Ideally, there would be an option to only show a single occurrence of a recurring event and show the date of the event as the next occurrence of the series and also work that into the overall sort order of the list.
