• Resolved nethics

    Our website is using WordPress 4.9.1 and Events manager 5.8.1.1.
    We do not manage to create recurring events. Apparently you can save the recurring event but then, if you try to get all the recurring events, none of them is generated and on the front-end page you get a 404 error.
    We thought there could be a conflict with WMPL 3.8.4 and tried to change some settings with no result.
    Have you got any evidence of this error occurring in other installations?
    Thank you.

  • Sorry, at the moment, recurring events are not supported with WPML.

    Thank you.
    At the moment I actually do not need to translate recurring events. WPML is installed because I need it for other pages. In WPML I found a setting where I can say I do not want recurring events to be translated.
    What is strange is that I managed to create a couple of recurring events in the past, and WPML and events manager were already coexisting. Then all of a sudden recurring events stopped working.
    Is there any way I can find a workaround?

    You can force recurring events to work with WPML activated by adding the line below to your wp-config.php file. If you’re not translating recurring events, it shouldn’t cause any problems.

    define('EM_WMPL_FORCE_RECURRENCES',true);
