Recurring Events No Longer Works

    I don’t know if it is because of the update to WP 4.0 or an update to Event Organizer (v. 2.8.6) but the recurring events feature no longer works on my site. Until recently, it worked flawlessly.

    It still let’s you load in the date, time, etc. but when you select the frequency of the “recurrence” (i.e. monthly) nothing else, including the “until” date field, is selectable. It stores it as a recurrence, but it only shows up one time, both in the events list and on the calendar.

    Hi twbeeson,

    Event Organiser 2.8.6 & WordPress 4.0 work for me. Additionally there have been no recent changes to the user date/schedule selection in Event Organiser, and nothing I know of in 4.0 that might conflict with it.

    I suspect, that is a javascript conflict with a plug-in that you may have updated along with EO and WordPress. If you open your browser’s console, and refresh the page you may be able to see an error (which may only occur once you try selecting “monthly”).

    That error or any warning message, if they exist, will (hopefully) be helpful in determining the cause.

    Thanks Stephen. You were right. It turns out that “Comprehensive Google Map Plugin” is the conflict. If I deactivate it, everything works fine in EO. Not sure what the exact problem is, but I’m no programmer. For now, this works. Thanks.
